Standard named JCHS Teacher of the Year

Ms. Standard
|
Ms. April Standard has been named the 2009 Jefferson County High School Teacher of the Year. Ms. Standard teaches English. She is a 1997 graduate of Jefferson County High School who earned a Bachelor's in English Literature from Augusta State in 2001. She then worked at the Medical College of Georgia in Desk Operations. In January of 2005 Ms. Standard replaced a teacher who resigned and enrolled in the TAPP program. She earned her certification in 2007. She is currently enrolled at Georgia Southern University working on a Master's Degree.
